Sidechain Compression and White Noise

The secret to getting a clean mixdown in a track is sidechain compression. In my tracks everything is sidechained to the kick drum. Sidechain compression is where when  a certain note is played the track that is sidechained ducks in volume. This is used to decrease the amount of low frequencys there for making it a lot cleaner sounding in the mix while it gets rid of distortion and muddyness.

Secondly, adding white noise is super effective when it comes to build ups and adding more frequencys. its all about filling up every frequency without over loading each channel.
